Kavanaugh’s accuser wanted to taint his reputation in case he repealed Roe V. Wade

The attorney for the woman who accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault has said that she did so in part to taint his reputation in the event that he “[took] a scalpel to Roe v. Wade.”

Debra Katz, one of the attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford, revealed that bombshell at the University of Baltimore in April, the Daily Caller reported.

Kavanaugh “will always have an asterisk next to his name,” Katz said at the school. β€œWhen he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important; it is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.

πŸ”¦ Christine Blasey Ford very nearly derailed the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court last year by accusing him of sexual assault. Senate Democrats attempted to use the accusations to bar Kavanaugh from the court; Ford was never able to provide any evidence that the accusations were true.
