Father of Kavanaugh’s accuser supported his nomination to the court

The father of the woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her reportedly supported the justice’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

Multiple sources claim that Christine Blasey Ford’s father, Ralph Blasey, told Brett Kavanaugh’s father Ed that he was “glad Brett was confirmed” following the confirmation hearing last year.

Reached by a reporter during the controversy, Ford’s father did not explicitly confirm his support of his daughter, saying instead: “I think all of the Blasey family would support her. I think her record stands for itself.”
