Austin, Texas is first city in the country to fund abortion services

Austin, Texas, will become the first city in the United States to provide funding toward services for abortion access.

The city council voted to appropriate $150,000 toward services such as childcare, transportation and lodging for women seeking abortions in the city. No money has been earmarked to pay directly for abortion.

The city of Austin late last year rented a government-owned building to Planned Parenthood for $1 per year. The abortion giant performs the majority of abortions in this country, ending around a third of a million unborn lives per year.

🔦 Two Planned Parenthood clinics recently closed in Ohio, citing the organization dropping out of the Title X program as the cause.
