Kanye West announces he will no longer make secular music

Superstar Kanye West held his second listening for his ninth studio album Jesus is King — due to release today — on Saturday night in Chicago, and announced at the event that he would no longer be making secular music.

Andrew Barber of Fake Shore Drive was in attendance and reported West’s announcement, relaying that the music titan would be making “only Gospel from here on out”:

No video has surfaced of the announcement, as the listening session was strictly a “no phone event.”

🔦 West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, recently said that Kanye has been “born again” and “saved by Christ.” The rapper and producer has been holding regular “Sunday services” around the country, which feature sermons and are described as worship services with a focus on Jesus. West has also been making increasingly bold comments about his faith.
