House Democrats threaten to subpoena White House for Ukraine records

Democrats in the House threatened to subpoena the White House for documents related to Ukraine pursuant to the ongoing impeachment probe, suggesting any delay by the Trump administration may constitute obstruction of justice.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff threatened to issue a subpoena by Friday if the administration did not comply with the document requests, some of which involve Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani and his dealings with the Ukraine.

In a tweet on Wednesday morning, Trump called the Democrats’ congressional activities “bull—-” and claimed they were “wasting everyone’s time and energy” on the impeachment probe.
