Porn producers busted by FBI for alleged sex trafficking scheme

The owners of several pornographic websites were busted by federal officials for their participation in a scheme in which young women were tricked and coerced to appear in porn movies.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that four individuals involved with several porn websites have been charged with perpetrating the scheme. Women were told they would be participating in modeling shoots worth $5,000. Upon arrival at the location they would be pressured and coerced into performing in pornographic films. In some cases, the young women were sexually assaulted or raped.

Three of the alleged criminals are in custody; the fourth is still a fugitive. The defendants are facing the possibility of life in prison in addition to hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
