Dems walk out of Syria meeting after Trump calls Pelosi “third-rate politician,” implies they like communism

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer announced Wednesday that Democrats had walked out of a meeting with President Trump about Turkey’s invasion of Syria after the president called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a “third-rate politician” and said to the Democrats, regarding the Syria situation, “there are communists involved, you guys might like that”:

As Democrats walked out, Trump reportedly said, “Goodbye, we’ll see you at the polls”:

Democrats blasted Trump for “a nasty diatribe,” saying “what we witnessed on the part of the president was a meltdown” — while Republicans blamed Pelosi for “storming out of another meeting, trying to make it unproductive” and having “no intention of listening or contributing to an important meeting on national security issues.”
