San Francisco blacklists more than 20 states for their pro-life policies

The City of San Francisco announced on Wednesday it would be implementing a blacklist of 22 states because of their pro-life policies.

Municipal employees will be forbidden to travel professionally to the blacklisted states, and the city of San Francisco will refuse to do business with any corporation headquarters in those states.

The city claims the named states have “severe anti-choice policies,” which it defines as those that “restrict abortion before viability of the fetus to live outside of the womb.” States on the list include Florida, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

The ban will go into effect January 1.
