Julián Castro says he’ll pull out of Democratic race if he doesn’t raise $800K in 10 days

Julián Castro, a Democratic presidential candidate who has consistently polled near the bottom of the Democratic field, has announced that he will end his campaign for the White House unless he raises $800,000 over the next 10 days.

Castro made the announcement in an email to his supporters, claiming that without a massive influx of cash in slightly more than a week, his campaign will be unable to sustain itself.

🔦 Castro’s campaign generated controversy earlier in the campaign season when his brother, who is also his campaign manager, tweeted the names and occupations of numerous Trump donors in the San Antonio area.
